Project Description:
The new Orthopedic Hospital Surgery Center in Warsaw, Indiana serves the greater Kosciusko County area. The surgery center suite contains 13,830 square feet and will focus on joint replacement and other orthopedic outpatient surgeries and procedures. Registration, waiting, and administration are positioned as the initial patient interaction area. Pre-Op and PACU bays total fifteen, one of which is enclosed for additional privacy. This facility has three operating rooms, which are outfitted with Warsaw-based Zimmer Biomet’s Omni Suite. This advanced technology includes cameras equipped with artificial intelligence to assist in key workflow steps, touch screens to display vital information during the procedure and smart knee implant technology to allow surgeons to track the patient’s post-surgical progress. Support spaces include two nurse stations, one consultation room, sterile processing, clean and general storage, staff breakroom and locker rooms.
This medical complex now houses Fort Wayne Orthopedics, Orthostat, Optimum Performance Sports, Optimum Therapy, and the Orthopedic Hospital Surgery Center all in one location.
